BaliZoo is a lot smaller and more manageable with a 5 year old. Both have a water play area. Both are fun but Bali Safari Park is almost too big to see it all in 1 day, especially in the heat and with a 5year old who wants to stop and play. I felt it was overload.
No Single Drop Rain Responsible Flood. Kali ini mimin Balipedia pengen bahas perbedaan Bali Zoo dan Bali Safari. Bukan tanpa alasan karena banyak tamu/calon pengunjung yang terkecoh jika keduanya dianggap sama. Misalnya saja mau berkunjung ke Bali Safari, tetapi malah booking Bali Zoo 😀 Walau memiliki konsep sama dengan mengusung tagline Kebun Binatang di Bali, kenyataan di lapangan kedua nama diatas memang tidak sama seperti lokasi, company, ataupun kegiatannya. Bali Zoo adalah objek wisata kebun binatang yang terletak di Jalan Raya Singapadu, Gianyar – Bali. Memiliki koleksi satwa sekitar 70 spesies dengan jumlah lebih dari 500 ekor binatang. Memiliki luas 12 hektar, kamu bisa jalan kaki berkeliling melihat hewan dikandangnya seperti burung cendrawasih, harimau sumatra, dll. Sedangkan Bali Safari Park adalah objek wisata kebun binatang juga namun diselingi naik mobil untuk melihat satwa dihabitatnya. Lokasi tempatnya di Gianyar juga lho guys, namun di Jalan Bypass Ida Bagus Mantra km 19,8. Perlu juga kamu tahu, kalau jarak Bali Safari ke Bali Zoo sekitar 1 jam naik mobil. Lumayan jauh juga… D. Taman Safari Bali memiliki luas 40 hektar, didalamnya ada sekitar 100 spesies, lebih dari 1000 hewan dari Indonesia, India, dan Afrika. Jadi 2 tempat diatas sangat jelas beda lokasi ya guys.. Nah, apalagi perbedaan yang lainnya? Perbedaan Bali Zoo dan Bali Safari Park Meskipun memiliki persamaan dalam konservasi satwa di Bali, namun dalam beberapa hal mereka tidak sama. Nah, berikut perbedaan Bali Zoo dan Bali Safari adalah Jenis pengalaman Bali Zoo adalah sebuah kebun binatang tradisional dimana pengunjung dapat melihat berbagai jenis hewan dari jarak dekat dengan berjalan kaki, termasuk primata, reptil, dan kucing besar. Sementara Bali Safari adalah taman satwa liar yang menawarkan pengalaman yang lebih imersif, di mana pengunjung dapat berpartisipasi dalam tur safari naik tram untuk journey trip, melihat hewan dalam habitat alaminya, dan bahkan berinteraksi dengan beberapa dari mereka. Jadi di Bali Safari selain naik mobil khusus, juga bisa jalan kaki untuk melihat binatang dari jarak dekat. Lingkungan Bali Zoo menampilkan hewan dalam lingkungan yang dikontrol dalam artian berada didalam kandangnya, sedangkan Bali Safari menampilkan hewan dalam lingkungan yang lebih alami dan juga ada beberapa di dalam kandang. Luas area Bali Zoo 12 hektar lebih kecil dibandingkan Bali Safari Park 40 hektar. Jenis Hewan Bali Safari Park memiliki lebih banyak jenis hewan sekitar 1000+ satwa dibandingkan Bali Zoo sekitar 500+ satwa, termasuk hewan-hewan eksotis seperti gajah, singa, dan bison. Bali Zoo, meskipun lebih sedikit, memiliki beberapa jenis hewan yang menarik, seperti orang utan, kucing hutan, dan burung-burung tropis. Fasilitas Bali Safari Park memiliki fasilitas yang lebih modern dan lengkap, termasuk restoran, toko suvenir, dan fasilitas parkir yang besar. Bali Zoo memiliki fasilitas yang lebih sederhana, meskipun masih memiliki area makan dan toko suvenir. Aktivitas Bali Safari Park menawarkan beberapa aktivitas unik, seperti safari malam, naik tram utk journey trip, dan atraksi hewan. Bali Zoo memiliki beberapa aktivitas yang menyenangkan, seperti pertunjukan hewan namun tidak ada naik mobil untuk lihat satwa langsung dihabitatnya. You are able to take your own photos with animals and the staff will even use your phone if you ask, you aren't required to buy any. We got so many great photos but we bought one anyhow because its a nice souvenir if you don't want toys or tshirts. Also if you research in advance you can buy a package that includes lunch and an animal feed ticket! You just have to buy drinks if you like but they have free water at the restaurant. The food is buffet style and is fresh and tasty, and suitable for all dietary requirements veggies, tofu, tempeh, fish, chicken, and beef. Considering our package included transport it was a total bargain and the people who are complaining should consider researching tickets in advance and appreciate what's on offer. Although it may be small, the chance to encounter all of those endangered species up close and in some cases in your arms! is unforgettable and I definitely would recommend it for someone who has only been to large zoos where animal sightings let alone encounters are minimal. I got to hold a gentle monkey, bear cat, and baby crocodile! And feeding the elephant was the highlight of my trip I don't regret the USD the extra bucket of food for him cost me...it was so much that I shared it with a family of boys who wanted to try it. Not some kind of rip-off whatsoever. Just go to their website, pick your package and enjoy Date of experience July 2014Ask Christina M about Bali Zoo3 Thank Christina M This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Entry cost for family of 4 is US $ 100, Photos cost $16 , Elephant rides $50 70 metre ride, hand feeding animals incurs additional cost, the charges don't stop. The flora is interesting, but the Zoo itself looks a little tired, not many animals to look at, and enclosures are cramped and small. I was surprised we weren't charged an exit fee !! There were lots of animals, but lots of opportunities to pay extra to feed them or have you photo with an animal....didn't sit well with me but I guess it helps with the upkeep. I am not a fan of elephant riding but that is a personal preference, but I did get to pat an elephant. I was wanting some feedback please as to which park would be better Bali Zoo or Bali Bird Park? I have read a lot of reviews but can't decide. Thank you. Level Contributor 488 posts 97 reviews 50 helpful votes 1. Re Bali Zoo or Bali Bird Park 7 years ago Bali safari and marine park, was amazing soo much to do! And heaps of good interactive shows! Photos 6x4 inc in price plus free hat! We had photo with orangutan tiger baby elephant plus they only take one person at a time on the Elephants, hate seeing the elephants taking 2 or 3 people plus the rider/driver! They have 40 animal closers where they roam free, you go by bus! Saw piranhas eating a chicken amazing so fast! Great bird show aswell! All the elephants poo is kept there and they have there own papper mill poo =papper plus 6 water slides there! The restaurant is in the tiger garden with all walls made of glass! Its amazing experience, its 11 years old but was made to look like its 100 years old! The only down fall is its $120aus or more! But was the highlight of our trip to Bali! We were there for 5 hours, went soo fast, did not see all the sights! If you do go get a driver for the day, and he will be your guide as well! Our driver had been there 300plus times, told us what to see first etc Level Contributor 6,879 posts 123 reviews 83 helpful votes 2. Re Bali Zoo or Bali Bird Park 7 years ago Does it just have to be one? Level Contributor 14 posts 67 reviews 26 helpful votes 3. Re Bali Zoo or Bali Bird Park 7 years ago We have been to Bali Safari and Marine Park before and it was amazing. We are staying in Ubud so I thought we would try somewhere that we have not been before. I was considering doing both and they are reasonably close to each other, unsure if we could fit both in one day. What do you think? Level Contributor 71 posts 36 reviews 26 helpful votes 4. Re Bali Zoo or Bali Bird Park 7 years ago Bali Bird Park was awesome. We were there in July 2015 and paid approximately $ each and I thought it was a bit expensive at the time. I soon changed my mind as it was so interesting. We were on a time schedule and was only there for 3 hours but could have spent a lot longer there. The have lots of different birds including Macaws, Eagles, Eclectus Parrot, Galahs, African Grey Parrots etc. There are bird shows at different times of the day which is all included in the admission price. All of the bird shows have all of the birds flying around out in the open. The bird show with the Macaws was just amazing. When you walk around the Bird Park there are a lot of the birds out in the open sitting in the trees or on top of posts next to the walkway. There is a restaurant there and the food we had there was very good. I would highly recommend Bali Bird Park and we will definitely be going back there but allowing more than 3 hours. Check Groupon out as i recently bought tickets for only A$21 for adults on there Level Contributor 4,090 posts 85 reviews 52 helpful votes 6. Re Bali Zoo or Bali Bird Park 7 years ago I thought the question was the Zoo or Bird Park. They are fairly close and you can fit both in in one day. I have been to both. Both have animal or bird handing, the Bird Park includes the Reptile Park and you can handle large goanas there. With the animal/bird handling the staff will take photos on your camera free of charge. The restaurants at both places are good with reasonable prices. For me the Bird Park has a slight edge. Re Bali Zoo or Bali Bird Park 7 years ago We visit the bird part every three trips or so, and have been 4 times so far. In November I was disappointed. A lot less birds in the walk through aviaries, and the Reptile Park is now very poor. Gone is the area with the iguanas mentioned in the post above and many displays are empty. Level Contributor 4,090 posts 85 reviews 52 helpful votes 8. Re Bali Zoo or Bali Bird Park 7 years ago Sorry to hear the decline of the Bird Park. I was there June 2015 so the decline must have been rapid. Destination Expertfor Tulamben, Lovina Beach Level Contributor 13,330 posts 62 reviews 100 helpful votes 9. Re Bali Zoo or Bali Bird Park 7 years ago rarefossil, if you hadn't been before, you may not have noticed a reduction in birds in the avaries. And that big section in the reptile park with the iguanas, tortoises etc was just locked up and empty. There were three iguanas jammed into one of the snake enclosures just outside....the snake long gone of course. The komodo dragon at the reptile park is also gone as is the big retic python and the vine snake. Staff kept badgering us to buy a live snake to feed the king cobra, and then to buy a chicken to feed a crocodile. The whole reptile park was dirty and kind of sad. The glass of the enclosures was dirty as well, rather like no one cares anymore. Level Contributor 850 posts 21 reviews 17 helpful votes 10. Re Bali Zoo or Bali Bird Park 7 years ago Um Zoo For me , now it was a few years ago we went to safari park and all i can say it was the most over priced day we ever could of had , plus it was so hot and the water park was quite new and water VERY dirty , there was no way any of us were going to swim in that. The following trip we went to the zoo OMG sooooo much cheaper and way more interaction with the animals . We loved it plenty of room for my sisters pram for the little one a. it was just a wonderfu day. Hi smithfamtravel. Have you tried using the search function in the forum here to see what people have suggested previously to this question? Or read through the reviews/visited their websites to see which might suit what you are looking for? I haven't been to either park, so can't help with a personal opinion, but here are just a few examples of previous posts I found by searching for "zoo or safari". If you don't get more responses to your thread here, I would try reading through a few more of the 35-ish pages of results from that search term. ;
